There are a lot of things to do on a ranch.


Have you ever swam with a frog? Have you ever jumped higher than a rooftop on a trampoline or ridden a go-cart really fast in an irrigated field? Have you ever shot a wasp's neck with a BB-gun, so that it's head fell off? Have you ever caught twenty lizards in one day? I have and those are just a few fun things you can do on the ranch in the summer time.

Swimming is one of my most favorite things to do in the summertime. I especially like to catch a frog and swim with it in our pool. I like to watch him swim around in the water. He looks really funny! Oh, and I love it when my brothers and I can wrestle with our dad in the pool. Now that is what you call fun!

When we are all done swimming we bounce on the trampoline to get dry. After we have bounced for a little while all the water has come off of us and onto the trapoline and with the trampoline wet you can bounce as high as the roof-top. It almost feels as if you were flying.

Later, when you get hot again, it is really fun to drive the go-cart in an irrigated field because, when you do, you get soaked! Oh, and I almost forgot..watch out for those cow-pies!! They will splatter all over you!

It is really fun when our cousin Jake comes over. He loves dinosaurs and so, when he is over we catch tons of lizards. Once, we caught twenty of them! Jake was really excited.

I am very forunate to live out here on this ranch. Even though we have a small house we have a big back yard.
